Adopt-A-Highway & Adopt-A-Spot

W.C. Thomas Lodge #112 is committed to service in our community. Part of our efforts to give back, is to support our environment. We recognize that as individuals, and as an organization, we have a collective responsibility to aid in keep our communities clean and beautiful and it is our civic responsibility. Four (4) times per year the Brothers maintain the cleanliness of the exit and on ramps for Interstate 20 East bound at Boulevard. We are proud to have served that community with environmental cleanup since 2002. Adopt-A-Highway provides a clean environment, gives our members civic pride to the community, serves as a reminder not to litter and saves tax-payer money.

In addition, since 2020 the Brothers of the Lodge participate in monthly Adopt-A-Spot community service projects. Our designated area is the area surrounding our lodge building located at 3770 Campbellton Road. Adopt-a-Spots help ensure that our immediate community stays clean, remains safe, and inspires surrounding and overserving our actions to be great environmental stewards.

March of Dimes

March of Dimes leads the fight for the health of all moms and babies. March of Dimes believes that every baby deserves the best possible start. Unfortunately, not all babies get one. W.C. Thomas Lodge #112 supports March of Dimes in changing that. The Brothers participate in the annual March of Dimes walk in Atlanta. This is a great opportunity to not only support and raise funds for a great cause but to support our community collaboratively with our Sister Chapter Ruth Chapter #104.

Community Engagement

W.C. Thomas Lodge #112 is actively engage in supporting two Atlanta Public Schools Elementary Schools. John Wesley Dobbs Elementary School and Fickett Elementary School. The Brothers support both schools by providing mentoring support to students; conducting school supply drives; attending school events in support of the students such as health fairs, student presentations, Easter Egg Hunts, Back To School Kickoffs, and much more.
